The mysteries of the unknown have always interested in the human mind. It’s not surprising for experts to say that India is a beautiful yet deliciously mysterious country that beholds the secrets and haunted stories. So here are the most famous haunted places you should visit once in your life:
1) D`Souza Chawl (Mumbai)
A well in the D`souza Chawl area of Mumbai, Mahim has obtained the reputation of being haunted. It is said that a woman while getting a water who fell into the well and died an unwanted death. Many people pretend to have seen the ghostly apparition of that woman near the well.
2) Shaniwarwada Fort (Pune)
Shaniwarwada Fort has witnessed several scary incidents. It is believed that the level of spiritual activity is on its zenith on every full moon night. According to an ancient story, this fort is haunted by the spirit of a prince who was cruelly killed when he was 13 years old by one of his relatives. His ghost can be heard screaming in the middle of the night.
3) Vrindavan Society (Thane)
 In one of the buildings in Vrindavan Society, there was once a man who lived in the society who happened to commit suicide. The security guards patrolling the area have faced strange things and happenings since then. They have been spanked hard on their face when alone and have been terrorized by spiritual whispers during guarding at night.
4) Parsi Graveyard (Nagpur)
The Parsi graveyard is the most common name that you will hear about the haunted place in Nagpur. People have described illness for up to a week after visiting this area, many have also reported strange sightings of human-like figures and ghostly sounds that follow them away.

There is a haunted house in Pune, which is located right next to the Garden Beer Bar and opposite to the water office. This scary and weird place is said to be unoccupied by humans for years due to various stories connected to it.

There is a haunted well in Belavandi Kothar Ahmednagar, near to a temple. The villagers frequently face a shortage of water still they do not use water from this well as it is assumed to be haunted. Several stories exist about it getting the status of being haunted.
7) Towers of Silence (Mumbai)
It is really a Parsi cemetery located near the Malabar Hills. Parsi’s have the routine of leaving the bodies of their dead on the rooftop of a tower to be fed by the vultures. 9) Johnson & Johnson Road (Mumbai)
The Signal at Johnson & Johnson road Mulund is one of the centers of paranormal activity. A woman in white saree haunts this path and has been the cause of many accidents, especially on New Moon nights. While most accidents are fatal, those who survived, said that they were only trying to save a woman in white and that’s the last bit they remember.
10) Mumbai-Nashik Highway (Kasara Ghat)
A particular area on the Mumbai Nashik Highway crossing through Kasara Ghat is said to be haunted by various paranormal entities. People have reported seeing an old headless woman, who suddenly arrives in front of the vehicle, causing several accidents.
